My love for hair & makeup started in my early teens where I found myself dabbling in different beauty trends on me and my friends. After graduating from Aveda Institute of Columbus I didn’t find my forever salon home which led me to opening up my own salon after five years in the industry, thus starting, Casa de Cara. Why Casa de Cara? The name Casa de Cara, translates to House of Cara. This name connects me to my hispanic roots. I was born in Guatemala but raised in Columbus, Ohio and have been a resident for twenty plus years. I have two amazing parents who are my biggest supporters, five siblings, three in laws and five nieces and nephews, who are just the cutest. I have two kitties, Fitz and Finn. A few of my favorite shows are Quantico, This is Us, Bachelorette, The Office, Schittz Creek and New Girl. I’m really into watching documentaries, Hindi movies & possibly some good dateline shows. You can catch me at a good Mexican restaurant, splurging on Queso and a Mexican Mule.
